Sales Management
  • Drive the studio to reach top-line revenue and profitability targets, with a significant focus on scheduling optimization, studio utilization, product, service and enhancement sales.

  • Accountable to achieve monthly membership targets. Set an example through personal practice and coach team where needed.

  • Provide daily and monthly financial and statistical reports to management team incorporating justifications of performance, proposals and recommendations to optimize financial performance.   

  • Review the monthly sales targets, scrutinizing departmental effinciencies to optimize profit without compromising quality. 

Personnel Management
  • Provide leadership, support and training to the team to help them achieve their sales and service goals.

  • Forecast staffing requirements, develop staffing strategy, and publish studio schedule to ensure business demands are met.

  • Provide leadership, direction and support team members to develop a highly motivated team who can consistently deliver excellent standards of service in all areas.

  • Support onboarding and continued training efforts for staff by partnering with department heads.

  • Communicate effectively to team using tools such as regular touch-bases, development reviews, training, departmental orientation, daily and monthly departmental/operations meetings.

  • Monitor all personnel procedures including sickness, holidays and payroll. 

  • Display honesty & integrity.

  • Ensures safe work environment

Operations
  • Embodies the values of Paloma and its culture, infusing it in their performance daily.

  • Support all operational areas and team members by proactively assisting members and undertaking operational duties as required.

  • Regularly walk all areas of studio to monitor cleanliness, maintenance, presentation and Paloma brand standards.  

General
  • Strong sense of customer service is a must!

  • 5-7 years in spa, retail, or salon in a guest-facing capacity.

  • Excellent people management skills for large, multi-faceted teams.

  • Unparalleled guest relations focus, ability to deliver added touches and details to make every visit by every member feel special.

  • Mastery of operations from all aspects of a brick-and-mortar guest destination.

  • Data-driven with a meticulous attention to detail and ability to expertly prioritize on the fly.

  • Strong sense of organization.

  • Ability to be a leader and establish a strong presence with team members and Paloma members.

  • Proven track record working with hourly workforce.

  • Proficient computer/Microsoft skills, including Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Experience with Vagaro and Zenefits a plus.

  • Basic Knowledge of employment law, policies, processes and programs.

  • Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene and proudly wear the Paloma uniform

  • Always be punctual and prepared in advance of guest arrivals.

  • Willing to work some evenings and weekends
