What Is Acupuncture?
Rooted in 2,500 years of Chinese tradition- acupuncture is an ancient practice that balances a person’s vital energy, or life force- known as Qi (pronounced chee). Qi is believed to flow through pathways in the body. If this energy flow is blocked, the body can no longer maintain the balance that is needed to fight fatigue and illness.

Why Do I Need Acupuncture?
The body has a tremendous ability to heal itself, but sometimes due to prolonged stress or external pathogens we can get "stuck" or sick. We may have frequent anxiety, frustration, irritability & sadness or, as the energy gets backed up illness can take hold. Using needles to communicate with the brain & central nervous system the acupuncturist directs the body where to heal itself.

How Does It Work?
With acupuncture hair-thin needles are gently inserted into corresponding energetic pathways (or meridians) to rebalance ones energy flow, which in turn improves overall wellness. Think of it as “reset & restore” feature for your body or your face.

Do the Needles Hurt?
Acupuncture needles are very thin, and most people feel no pain or very little pain when they are inserted. They often say they feel energized or relaxed after the treatment.
