Management Duties
  • Create and uphold client experience and team standards in accordance with State Board standards. Meeting or exceeding all established quality standards.

  • Train monitor and coach performance of Estheticians and Sales Associates on Esthetics business and sales specifics. Coordinate trainings with outside vendors and product providers. Training may be conducted during prescheduled time between appointments; however, some of the training may need to be scheduled outside of the normal work schedule.

  • Maintain written treatment protocols and esthetic handbook updates, updating as treatments and policies change.

  • Add Maintain backbar and monitor product usage. Responsible for ordering backbar supplies and tracking product usage. Also responsible for ensuring product usage is in line with protocols.

  • Bring innovation to the PALOMA esthetics department, by developing new treatments and researching new products. Assist in the development of services and make recommendations on retail offering.

  • Represent esthetics team in management meetings.

  • Ensure estheticians are abiding to PALOMA’S team values and cultivate a harmonious department.

  • Oversee maintenance of esthetics equipment, coordinating repair services as needed.

  • Meet or exceed all established quantitative metrics including service and product revenue goals; % of retail sales to services sales; rebook rate. This includes mentoring to improve the esthetic teams’ performance.

  • Manage schedules of estheticians on the spa computer system; being able to move and create appointments as needed

Treatment Standards & Operations
  • Paloma estheticians are responsible for delivering exceptional therapeutic facial treatments and customized services. 

  • Perform all treatments at an exceptional standard and adhere to standards taught in training.

  • Carry out an in-depth consultation with each member prior to treatment, ensuring medical history and concerns are identified. 

  • Complete a comprehensive skin analysis of each client to better understand the needs of their skin today and in the future.

  • Protect the member experience by moving quietly around the treatment room and in corridors. 

  • Use the correct quantities of products as specified by the manufacturer and not exceed that amount.

  • Maintain linen and product levels in the treatment and ensuring linen closets are stocked, clean and organized per Paloma standards.

  • Follow treatment room opening and closing procedures correctly.

Client Relationships:
  • Comfortable in communicating basic skin science and function in an easy to understand approach as it applies to each client's concerns and long-term goals. 

  • Maintain the highest standard of client’s service by following Paloma’s protocols and displaying genuine care and attention to detail.

  • Consistently record member preferences accurately by updating guest profiles.

  • Ensure confidentiality at all times including data protection, medical details and any information provided by the client.

  • Report any member complaints to the Manager on Duty so that they can be handled promptly and effectively. 

  • You are grounded in hospitality and love making people feel more amazing than when they entered Paloma. 

  • You’ve got a listening ear, a discerning eye, a positive attitude, and a gentle hand.

Health and Saftey
  • Perform all treatments in a professional, hygienic and safe manner for all members, updating knowledge and training regularly.

  • Responsible for the cleanliness, sterilization, and hygiene of all equipment, products and linens in the treatment and preparation areas, following Paloma’s protocols. 

  • Act responsibly at all times in relation to personal safety along with the safety of colleagues and members of Paloma.

  • Support the Experience Guides where required in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the spa facilities. 

General
  • Valid Columbus, OH Esthetics License

  • Knowledge of advanced facial massage techniques (CBD, Lymphatic Drainage)

  • Experience with electrical modalities (high frequency, LED, micro current)

  • Experience in chemical peels, sugaring, and HydraFacial is preferred 

  • Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene and proudly wear the Paloma Uniform.

  • Always be punctual and prepared in advance of treatments.

  • Willing to work some evenings and weekends
